Texas Health Hospital Rockwall’s North ER, located at 2265 N. Lakeshore Drive, is temporarily closed effective midnight Friday, Aug 06. This temporary closure will allow members of the medical team to transfer to our hospital’s main campus on Horizon Road, where they will provide care related to the pandemic.

Texas Health Rockwall is fully equipped to meet the special needs of patients staying overnight due to illness, injury, surgery or for observation.

We take pride in providing safe, compassionate, and patient-focused care. To make your stay as comfortable as possible, you and your family will have access to home-like comforts in an environment sensitive to your specific needs. All patient rooms are private and include a sleep chair, wireless Internet capabilities, wall-mounted flat-screen televisions with cable and built-in desks.

To ensure your spiritual well-being, chaplain services are available for patients and family members. A private chapel is located on the second floor next to ICU for the use of patients, families and visitors.

Intensive Care Unit

Patients facing the challenge of an acute, life-threatening injury or illness can take comfort in knowing that Texas Health Rockwall has a comprehensive Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Hospitalists (physicians dedicated to caring for patients in a hospital setting) provide expertise and care coordination along with experienced critical care nurses and a multidisciplinary team approach including cardiopulmonary services, physical therapy, social services and dietitian services.

Physicians and nurses have access to numerous on-staff specialty services including: pulmonology, cardiology, internal medicine, anesthesia, gastroenterology, surgery, hematology, oncology, infectious diseases, nephrology, neurology, orthopedics, urology and vascular surgery.

Our ICU nurses provide safe, personalized, high-quality care for each patient and ensure comfort for their families.

Visitation Notice

Please understand there may be times and situations in which visitation is limited; such as during periods of high flu activity or other illnesses. Further, these decisions may be made upon recommendation by health officials for the purposes of controlling the spread of illness to patients, visitors and hospital caregivers.  If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, for the safety of all, please reschedule your visit for another time.
