The da Vinci Xi Surgical System utilizes advanced, robotic, computer and 3D high definition optical technologies. The 3D-HD image is highly magnified, so your surgeon has a close-up view of the area he or she is operating on.
The da Vinci’s mechanical wrists bend and rotate to mimic the movements of the human wrist, allowing surgeons to operate through small incisions.

This means that the cost for the procedure is typically the same whether the patient has robotic surgery or “open” surgery. However, all health plans are different and we encourage you to contact you insurance company to obtain information specific to your health plan.
