Dr. Cherian graduated from the Collegium V Honors Program at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) where she received her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience with a minor in music. She then received her Master of Science in health care management. Dr. Cherian went on to attend Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, completing her residency program at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Pennsylvania. Dr. Cherian is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Cherian’s residency provided her with ample experience in forefoot and rearfoot podiatric surgery with a specialty in wound care, reconstructive surgery, and diabetic conditions. She is also passionate about educating patients globally and locally about diabetic foot health and has traveled to complete mission work in India, Belize, and Mexico. She also shares an enthusiasm for sports medicine, as her experience in intramural basketball and volleyball at UTD provided her with a personalized skill set.
In Dr. Cherian’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, playing the piano, scrapbooking, church, and attending Dallas Mavericks basketball games.
