Dr. Wade has extensive training in treating problems of the foot and ankle. Due to his athletic background and passion for sports, one of his specialties is treating the injured athlete. His graduate studies in Kinesiology gives him an added insight into the unique needs of these patients. In addition Dr. Wade has considerable experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center during residency, and he is skilled in the treatment of fractures and other traumatic injuries. This residency program is also world renowned for their treatment of the diabetic foot, and Dr. Wade received ample training in treating the complexities of this condition. As a member of both the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Dr. Wade is actively engaged with the latest research and procedures in his field, In fact, he has published articles in professional journals such as Clinics in Foot and Ankle Surgery and Perioperative Nursing Clinics. He also spends time training residents in foot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Wade and his wife, Angela, have a son named Bennett. During his free time, Dr. Wade enjoys camping, hunting, SEC football (Alabama), playing sports, and playing the piano.
